Let's Foster!

Foster and Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in fostering or volunteering with us. Please be sure and fill out the waiver also, we need both forms in order to approve you to foster.

Your completed application will be reviewed and a LGR representative will be in touch with you shortly after. If you do not speak to a representative within 2 weeks, please resend your application. You may be asked additional questions and your first visit to the rescue may be scheduled.

Initial visits, training and interactions with the birds of LGR will be supervised by the owner of LGR or a designated and experienced volunteer. This is to ensure both our volunteer’s and birds’ safety and well-being.
Volunteers under 18 years old MUST be accompanied by a legal guardian of at least 21 years old. The guardian will be required to stay in the presence of the minor volunteer for the duration of the volunteer’s shift.
